Hi, I have been trying 360's for ages and I can't get all the way round whilst still keeping on the wave. Is there anyone out there who can give me a few pointers?

Cheers

Broosta.

Use your head and torso to keep the momentum going as you commit to the turn.

Once about 3/4 of the way round you want to be pushing the rear of the board back into the wave to get traction again. This will help compleate the move. :)

Hope that helps

Cheers Papa :) . Sorry I should have said I ride a 6'2" thruster  and by your avatar I'm assuming you're talking about bodyboard 360s.
I keep trying fronside (rights) clockwise 360s. I can get all the way round but by then I've let the wave overtake me and so I'm behind it with no means of propulsion left.
Any hot rippers out there care to spill the beans on how to nail 'em.

Here's a couple of fairly hot surfers giving advice on various moves:

It works the same for bboard or stand-up.

perhaps for stand-up a little more in the hip but the motion and landing of the rear of the board stays true.
