if your in uk a don't wanna miss some thing rare. it's time to travel down to woolacombe. sun day right through to Wednesday is consistent surf. where talking 9-15 ft wive durations of over 10 seconds. Courtesy of hurricane katia. if you don't believe me, have a look for your self at megaseaweed.com

if you find any other spots please post the place and if your thinking of heading down to woolacombe, I advise medium thickness wetsuits .

to be honest, any north Devon surf beach will do as long as it faces west.

i think you may have a little to learn about forecasts and such, i suspect most westerly facing beaches will be maxed out. and if not will be blown out by the onshore wind. you'll need to be looking at sheltered spots. although i agree this is a fairly large swell for the uk, but no exactly unheard of.

Its mostly been 3-6secs with dumpy choppy conditions so far. South coast actually (for once) seems a little nicer and Bantham was top notch on Wednesday.
