Surfing Waves

Hi All

Im a newbie to surfing and have a question.

I stay in joburg South Africa but go to the coast often.

I bought a board reasently (7.6 mini-mal) that stays in the Cape Town and was wondering if the wax can stay on the board as it will be unused for a few months at a time or should i remove the wax every time i put it away? will it damage the board if the wax is left on for long periods?

It won't damage the board, leave it on if you like.
