Things must have been really quiet in the UK this year as the incident was in 2007.

It's still freaky and Raimana didn't even know until after, he just sort of instinctively ducked :shock:

You're right Kitey, Santa Barbara isn't in the UK, Billie is.
The article is from the Daily Mail and there was one in the Telegraph as well both out of Fleet St, updating with four year old news

So here is a tale of an epic fail,
sourced at large from the Daily Mail
The rider of the ski, Reef Macintosh
was heard to utter "Oh my gosh" ( actually something a lot worse)
and Raimana coolly ducked his head
or news reports would be that he was dead.
The question now for all to see
will Macintosh drive another ski :?:

Not you Billie it's the UK media who published it like it was today's news, hence the comment about it being quiet in the UK.
Probably didn't register since it didn't have somebody royal doing it.
