beginner board

what kind of board do i need for 6ft 2 male, who is beginner at surfing and has only done it a couple of times (its for a present). Also anyone selling a second hand one on the cheap in northern ireland? pref county antrim or county down

You need a 9 foot long board

I wouldn't recommend one for you nuggs. If you are going to surf regularly you'll soon outgrow a softboard.
