Surfing Waves

I'm thinking about doing a weeks surf trip, just want to rent a villa, walking distance from a beach, somewhere in Europe that will still be hotish in october/november and is good for average surfers, not advanced but wanting to get better. Any ideas!?

Well oct/nov time its the warmest the sea is going to get in Europe however air temp wil lhave started to drop.

Your going to get some mean swells too!

If you want the air to be fairly warm your looking at spain or even portugal. If not then France has plenty to offer.

thanks for the info, I was thinking along the lines of Southern Spain, anything I look up on the internet for Spain and Surf just takes me to surf package holidays....which isn't great as not everyone in the group is going is there to surf. Is there anywhere in particular you could recommend esp good for beginners, some of the guys are brand spanking new to it and I'm still not theat grand myself...by the way how is wooly this week?

Well basically any of the spots you can find easily will have areas suitable for beginers... Take a gander at the Storm rider guide to europe, that will outline the main areas and the pros and cons.

Spain has some of the most consistant spots in europe! look at about 85%!
