First Board!

After years of skateboarding i wanted to start surfing for a change, and I have recently been given a board, looks quite old but not sure how old. Brand is "Best Ever", St Agnes board. I have done some online research and i know its a company owned by Steve Bunt.
What i wanted to know, if anybody knows about these boards, are they polyester or epoxy construction?
And the board has a number of dings, which i am going to fix up, but also has built in fins, and the center fin is missing, snapped off, any advice on where to get new fin and where to start when it comes to repairing it?
