Surfing Waves

hey everyone, bought a used lost rocket board and I'm close to nearly done restoring it. The previous owner tried to repair them from what it almost looks like hot glue.. I basically chipped it away with my finger nail. I ordered the santa cruz repair kit, I was curious if anyone has any input or experance with the product.
