Hi,

Am planning on going to Cornwall for a week in early March with a mate.
We havent been surfing too long so not looking for anything too big. Where would you recomend?
Was thinking Padstow.

Thanks

Matt

what you after Matt, just surf or surf and night life? i guess surf wise you want some fairly mellow waves, but in the evening, do you want mellow too or twisted head stuff. will you have a vehicle or be stationary the whole week?

Hi,

Thanks for getting back to me. Looking for some good surf really but some bars some bars would be good for the evening. We have managed to get hold of a camper.

Cheers

Matt

'Padstine' (Padstow) is nice enough abet over priced ;)

Cant really go that wrong on the north coast... Connies, spewquay, Perrenporth, Watergate, Towan, Gwenvor/Gwithian just look for the strips of sand next to a town.

thats right, as Papa says, waves everywhere on the north coast, but Spewquay caters for a variety of wind conditions, St ives always good in a sw wind for waves and a night out. Peranporth picks up loads of swell, Gwenvor picks up all swell, but Gwithian is rubbish ;-)
