one of the most important things i try to do when im surfing is surfing with style,flow..
do you guys try looking cool?
whats the surfer that you try to look like while surfing or somethin like that?
btw i love the brazilian surfer fabio gouveia style

I don't think it matters what you look like when you are surfing, because you should not be trying to impress anyone. Surfing is a very self oriented activity, and you should just care about how it feels when you are riding, not what you look like.

i don't think it matter what u lool like aslong as your haveing fun thats alll that matters after all thats what its all about.

just my 2 cents but.... although not about looking cool... thinking about style has benefits... ie. better balance by correcting that poo stance etc. just a thought!

yes style is important as it comes from having good technique. looking "cool" though? give me a break. i defy anyone to look cool piss wet through with seawater running out of their nose.

Leather jacket, shades and faded Wrangler jeans...on a surfboard...very cool indeed!
Best way to look cool is to be really really really good on crazy waves most people wouldn't dare to ride. I don't care how goofy you look, if you shred on monstrous waves, you will look cool.
On the other hand, if you look cool but don't surf very well, well that doesn't really look cool.

hey people,sorry thats not what i meant..
im from brazil,im not very good at english,so i didnt find the word for it.
looking cool like wearing some clothes or pretending to be someone is xxxxx.
i was trying to say is to focus on smoothness on your surfing
cause when youre learning you get a weird stance and your tricks look weird at first,so i think is important to perfect them till they look not cool,but smooth i think,know what im sayiin?
