epoxy repairs

hi peeps just purchased a 2nd hand resin 8 which is epoxy and its got a couple hairline cracks in it, whats best way to seal these i heard super glue or board wax into them would work, what u all recommend???

Never ever use surf wax to fix a ding! :ninja:
Theres nothing worse than trying to fix a ding that some numpty has filled with wax. Epoxy and polyester resin do not stick to it so the first thing you have to do is pull out all the wax and inevitably have to make the ding bigger than it was initially so that you can fix it.
You say hairline cracks? Do you know that they are letting in water?

ok point taken mate, i dont know if takin in water i have been told it dont let in water as just brought it, i just feel the need to cover any cracks or chips with some kind of protection just to be safe????

also its had some filler applied to nose how is best way to sand it down and what paint can be used to repaint nose tip
