Hey I surf in the North East of England so the surf is inconsistent 2 say the least, have been surfing for about a year on a board that looks like it came straight out of the 70's! Am at uni in england but am studying in australia (perth) for a yr nxt yr. Do peeps reckon this board will be ok for good days up north in england and for smaller/medium days in australia i dont reckon im good enough yet to go for the bigger australian days! any opinions. I'm 5'3 and 9stone. cheers me dears!

Well this summer we had 4 weeks when it was completley flat with some days 3ft and the odd day inbetween that was 7 to 8ft so i need somethin pretty versatile!

i've got a 6'8" surf betty and it's perfect for just bout any day up in the north east, i surf here too. Don't know bout oz though. Sure if the wave size is similar it'll be cool but bigger days you might want something shorter. Not an expert though. Just know it's good for the north east. :-)
Thanx hon!

Hey, didnt realise peeps from the tynemouth forum used this one as well! Sorry Saffasurfer had always presumed u were a bloke  , i must apologise for my prejudice! Thanks for the advice, think im gonna pester all my relatives and try and get one as a (very) early xmas present. Im down in Norwich at uni at the mo, but may well bump into you on tynemouth beach one day (not thats its my regular haunt but its a fun place 2 be). Cheers again! :D

don't apologise, it's an easy enough mistake to make. Of course if you met me in person and thought i was a bloke, that's a whole different story altogether. If you ever make it down to tynemouth i'll probs be there. :-)
