Surfing Waves

I have a good friend who i have helped out a lot in life here and there because he is my oldest friend....

I have helped him fulfil his dream job and now in return he has very VERY kindly offered to help me with one of mine,

initially because I play guitar he wanted to send me to a place where you get to make your own acoustic guitar from scratch whilst learning music related stuff........

so much so perfect,

however in the time he has been promising me this rare treat he has noticed how much i surf...long story short after a drinking sesh he asked me which i would prefar to make a guitar or a surfboard.

now to be honest i already own and play my dream guitar, but i have a REAL hankering to shape my own board and ride something that i am so connected to the creation of.

but i have no idea if such a thing exists as a shaping masterclass or short term apprenteship , something probably based in the uk i have no idea how long it would take etc etc

so i am just putting feelers out on his behalf to see if there is anything anyone here knows of

it would be to make a fiberglass retro 9'6ish longboard btw if that makes a diff.

as for the drum kit.....yerr i had to google it , but sparkly is ALWAYS good
