I've found this wicked new product, what do you think?

Postby sebdaniels » Mon Jun 29, 2009 2:09 pm

Hi, I’m pretty new to surfing but I’ve found this product and wondered what people think of it?

<edit>

It's an electrolyte based addin in which you put in water or any drink to create a sports drink that boosts energy, aids recovery and prevents muscle cramps. It is completely natural and also seems pretty cheap at 64p per litre.

I've been using it for quite a while now: it really doesn't want it says but want to know what surfers think and if you'd actually use it?

Cheers

Seb

PS: I’m also looking for some wicked spots to surf in the UK this summer- anyone got any ideas?

Its not spam seriously! Its a genuine question but I don't mind if you don't answer. What about the good spots for surfing in the UK this summer?

*puts spam tin back in cupboard but on the bottom shelf so that its in easy reach*

The summer is always busy and usually flat in the uk in the summer and the best spots will be closely guarded secrets. Where abouts are you based?

haha I like the movement action.

I’m based in Sussex but myself and some mates are looking to take a road trip and stay at three or four nice places over 2 weeks or so. We are just looking for spots that have a real buzz and loads of energy. Any vague areas you could recomend?

Well if your looking for good surf in the summer then the more exposed the better. North west ireland springs to mind but i wouldn't recomend that unless your surfing is good.
If you don't fancy that and want to stay in blighty then head down the west country lots of beaches to choose from down there, but as its the summer keep an eye on the swell charts and pick your weeks carefully. There's no guarantee of surf in the summer.

In reference to your 'product' - just drink more water!

Summer spots? hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm tricky. Swimmers, inflatables, small waves, gonna get messy!
