Surfing Waves

I'm fairly new to surfing (been out about ten times or so) and I would really like to meet someone who I could go out and learn with. I live in Thousand Oaks (halfway between LA and Santa Barbara) and was wondering if anyone else on this forum lives/surfs in the area (anywhere between Santa Monica and Ventura). I will be around all summer so just message me if you would like to meet up sometime.
