C'mon guys! No one has mentioned Dick Dale! Evenyone of you that proclaims to surf should own his album entitled, "Surfer's Choice." You should also have some Ventures, too. It also wouldn't hurt to have some Bel-Airs, Beach Boys, Surfaris, Challengers, and Eddie & the and Showmen. Maybe even the Joy Boys.

Wow, you won't believe this! Annette Funicello singing "Surfer Boy," in 1964.
www.youtube.com/watch?v=z219mDFNDNs&feature=relatedAnnette's song is the Beach Boys, "Surfer Girl," with a few word changes. In case you youngin's don't know who this woman is, just know she was hot and wore bikinis on the beach.

I always usually play sublime, bob marley, or jack johnson. There is nothing like driving up to the beach at sunrise, watching the dolhpins at the break with maybe only 1 or 2 guys out there with some Bob Marley in the background.

If you want a song to really pump you up, try looking up "isolate" by bender. It's the song used in a great Laird Hamilton video and it always gets me pumped to surf.
