Surfing Waves

Anyone surfing in Redondo/Hermosa Beach, CA area this weekend?

I know the surf is crap, but I'll be in town sightseeing for the next couple of days, maybe get a session in before I hit the town w/ my gf.

yea.. reports look bad

i just came back from a (crappy) 2 hour session. I rented a board from Pier Surf shop.

I checked it in the morning and it was nice and the wind was more side shore-ish. When I finally got out at 11 am, it was just crumbly mush.

If you make it to up past malibu, it was a lot glassier there today. Surfed county line..small, but occasional fun on a longboard.
I rode the sup and had the point to myself for almost 2 hours.
Great drive for you and your lady, famous Neptunes Net restaurant is across from the point.

Yesterday afternoon, we drove through the Pacific Coast hwy up past Malibu. This is my first time in this area, and I must admit, it made me want to move here to Southern California. On a good swell, hundreds of spots must be firing along this coast.
