Surfing Waves

Due to an unfortunate meeting between my foot and the bottom during a NEAP tide, today was my first day back in the water after nearly 7 weeks of not being able to surf. So stoked. It felt like coming home.

There are, however, a lot more tourists at my local break now than there were last time I went out. Oh well, goes with the territory, I guess.

Damn it's good to be back.

I'm rusty and out of shape, and the foot is still stiff, but at least the water is warming up nicely.
