What happened to various characters in the bra boys movie?

Don't mean to be morbid but trying to fit the pieces together, so in the ending credits various characters have RIP over their names, Jason Laughlin, Scotty Linford, Budgey, Bebbo, Barrie, did these guys die in surfing accidents ?
