Surfing Waves

I haven't gone surfing since winter break, around the beginning of December, and today I finally made it back to sea. I was expecting to fail on my pop ups and be flailing down the line, but luckily I still got it. Using my friends egg shaped board, I was able to pump down the line and enjoy a session that I needed. I guess surfing is like riding a bike, you'll never forget how to do it.

-Anyone else have any experiences returning to the lineup after a long period of time?

^^ lol gotta agree there. although last year i was away from end of march till start of august...what a long time to be out of the water for although nice to be getting into a summer suit opon return

not going in the water as often at the moment as the winter is biting cold this year here in the UK. although i remedy that by skateboarding more in these months - seems to keep my balance and co-ordination in check whenever i hit up a surf thank christ

i worked at the beach for summers, then had to go back to school from august to may. then i'd be right back at the beach surfing all summer. first day is kind of shakey and bad, but after that, it comes right back
