Surfing Waves

Surf photos of my first Alaia (and surfboard) I shaped are on up my site. I used Paulownia wood. Very fun to shape and ride prone, knee or standing. I've only had the opportunity to surf it in small waves so standing was very challenging. I rode it prone and had the most fun in a long time on tiny, knee high waves! The Alaia makes you reevaluate how to enjoy waves!

Thanks! I'm excited about taking the Alaia out over the next week as we're having cold fronts coming down. Should be fun.
