weird wipe out

Yesterday i was paddling for a wave i did a pop up, somehow my stick flips over and i fall butt first on my board and end up riding the waves making my butt hit my fins...im thinking i put too much weight on one side, i dont know what went down.
anyone else had weird wipe outs?

Yeah biggish day
Dropped in dug a rail, ouch
Whilst trying to get back up for air i fellt someone grab my waist, coughing and spluttering i turned to see a beautifull mermaid smiling at me.
She gave me a cheeky wink and smile before swimming off into the distance.
I'll never forget that day.

i tried to pull back out of a wave last minute, slipped, and ended up riding down the face laying on my back.

Fell off and landed on the surfboard on my back... i managed to ride the board for a while that way eventhough all i was trying to do was to get off.
On another day while hotdogging on ankle high surf i missed a top turn and the board went straight up and hit my cleanly at the chin. Damn it hurt.

haha, that pic is awesome. i remember popping up, my foot slipping off the side immediately, and catching/riding the wave for a bit while sitting flat on the board.

happens, you try too hard and end up on your board. I actually sliced through my wetsuit and got a big cut on my butt cheeck by trying to pull into an un-makeable tube, it happens

i was on a like two or three foot wave and somehow the lip got under my feet or somethin and it propelled me a couple feet in the air. i did a perfect full on frontflip and landed feet first into the water. it felt like the matrix or somethin haha

scars 91 .........
I caught an armpit high hollow wave on my big wave gun, crouched and lent back resting on the face with my right foot in the air wafting around as I tried to keep my balance !
I dint wipe out - sorta floundered and ended up sat on the rail as the board twisted 90 degrees

a friend was paddling back to the line up and i was on a wave-- next thing we know, my board is sort of "gliding" over her back as she's tummy down in her stick, and I'm still on mine. I look back and she's tumbling in the waves right behind me. Kinda of hilarious.. she said she felt me going over her too. Hahah Makes me laugh remembering the look on her face as I came at her.
One of those you had to be there sort of things.
