puts car park

does anyone know if its open all year,if your in a van can you take the height bars of if there are any....anymore info would be very welcome..

The owners will often open it up at the weekend, but not always.
I was there a couple of years ago during an epic winters day when it was shut and the traffic chaos was hilarious (I'd got there at dawn and parked at the top of the hill). Around lunchtime, the car park people finally turned up and let everyone into the car park. The surfers who'd sat in their cars for two hours watching the beautiful waves were not too happy...![]()
Oh, and on another occassion someone brought some bolt-cutters
