Got a little surf rash from my wetsuit in the armpit. WHat is the best way to get rid of it so I can surf asap? I usually keep it dry and just don't mess with it...

Not sure how to get rid of it quicker but some vaseline will keep it from chaffing when you go out next.

Oh yeah, I used vaseline regularly before they came out with rash guards. Unless your rash is really bad you should be able to go out right away with some on.
However I don't believe it in itself does any good the healing process. Bag Balm also works really well especially in the tropics.

Yeah dude ... also before they had taped, blind seams, vaseline was about as indispensable as duct tape. Otherwise you had crazy armpit rash like something fierce.

How much? A little? A gob?
I just got a new 3/2 wetsuit but since $$ is tight I got one for 100 bucks. No taped seams, no blind seams. Its a quicksilver, and I got it because it looked like it might fit(online). I got very lucky and it fits great!
I got the rash from a $20 Bare 2/2 spring suit. I got it from costco and it was the last one and marked down. I have 3 surfs on it in a week and im sure with a rash guard, I would never have gotten a rash. So f or $120 so far I have a 2/2 spring suit that needs a rash guard and a 3/2 that probablly needs a rash guard. I'll spend $30 on a nice rash guard and be set... As long as I have a little Vasoline!

Just a little should do ... I don't think you need a "gob".
A rash guard is always good to have on hand either way.

baby powder...put it on when you're dry, and before you go to bed. desitin also works well, but it's quite messy

Desitin !!!! If it's ok to use on babies for diaper rash then what would you want to use for your rash?? It's allso a great sun screen due to the large amount of zinc.

aloe works great. not the crap out of the bottle but the actual leaves. Just snip a piece off, take the skin off the leaf and rub the slimy stuff all over the wound. Makes the healing process go pretty quick...They also have some clear waterproof bandaids. Thing 3M makes them. works great to get you in the water faster.

Agree here. Bepanthen® is the best UK equivalent. Also very good for moistening tattoos as they heal.
