Surfing Waves

i been surfing for not long, and the place im going to have small mushy waves, and i want to get a longboard , i want to learn to noseride. i am 5"4
weight about 120. would a 9"0 be to big for me ??????????
would i be able to turn on it ????????/
any suggestion would be nice thank u

You should be able to turn alright but to noseride you really need good quality waves

Maybe consider a minimal if your worried about the weight of the board
