Sounds beautiful! My dad wants to take me to Costa Rica in September, just the two of us to surf. No distractions.

right heres a slightly better account of the trip. unfortunately no pictures as the surf was too damn good to hang around taking pictures.
got off the boat at calais at 3 in the morning. then we drove to st malo to pick up pete who came in from guernsey. then headed straight down to la torche in southern brittany for a quick surf. it wasnt very good but still some waves. camped in la torche that night and went for a quick surf in the morning. still not vry good and forecast to get worse so we headed on down to the south.
we pulled up in Landes for a look at the surf and some sleep ready to decide whether to stay in south France or head on down the coast into northern Spain. after a night of rough camping we found a beach in the morning to find perfect chest high is waves breaking with very few people out. after a marathon session we decided to stick around so we found a campsite where we would stay for the next 6 nights.
every morning we turned up at the same beach at about 7 to find the same perfect steep barelly waves breaking so we'd surf for hours then get some lunch and sleep back at the site. the best day was wednesday when the surf pushed up to about head and a half with fast steep waves peeling perfectly. i made some stupidly late take offs that day and reaped the rewards. the only bad day was thursday but there were stil waves so we went and surfed anglet because we figured it would be less crowded when it was rubbish.
all in all i had an epic surf trip and very stoked. manged to pull into a barrle but didnt quite make i out and got very vertical a good few times so i as very happy with my surfing. were hoping to do it all again next year. probly wont be as lucky with the surf though.
oh and monday sounds good if im back from plymouth ill give you a shout.
