Hey, i read recently that if you hold something up to the sun and basically the more sun that passes through means the more uv you get, so darker colours do a better job than lighter ones, a thick black top would definitely go a long way, have a good trip

What ever you use I would pile it on heavy from the start. I spent a week in Mazatlan and fried my face and lips the first day. It was miserable from then on.

Maybe get a hat made foe the water and at least bring it just in case you need it.

Do you guys think sun will actually damage your eyes? Maybe those uv ray might reflect from the water and get you in the eyes..? Anybody heard stories of surfer getting bad eyes?

My friend tells me to wear a uv sunglass but i never see anybody wear it, so why should i

Yes, sun does damage eyes, the reason people dont wear sun glasses in the water is because regular sun glasses wont stay on and its just not 'cool' to do. I think you can buy goggles that will stay on but again - not 'cool'. I dont wear them either, I think in endless summer two has a guy wearing them but the narrator seems to feel the need justify it.

For the sun block - i hear aloe gator is very good.

I sometime wear a hat to help keep the sun off my head/out of my eyes.

Trying hard to remember what the sun looks like at the moment tho.

Recently, it seems like every time there's a swell, it's snowing.

Probably longer than that for me. Too bloody cold for me to be interested unless it's pumping.
