whats the difference?

ok i am a serious new surfer and please dont laugh but i gotta learn sometime!..what is the difference b/t softtops,plastic boards,foam boards...i mean please help cuz i see those terms all the time and i dotn know what it is!!

Use the surfboards link at the top of this page and read through the sections that link off from the surfboard page. Pretty much all the info should be there for you.

if that doesnt work... pretty much softtop/foam boards are for learning and epoxy and fiberglass boards are for regular surfing
