Postby waterdog62 » Fri May 23, 2008 2:29 pm

Howdy well as all you So. Fl. Surfers know we haven't seen any waves in a long while now. The great news is not only is there some good surf predicted its actually on a Holiday. Mon. Memorial day there is finally suppose to be some waves. Predicted to be bumpy and choppy but I'll take that over flat any time. I can't wait 8) 8) 8)

It's been flat here for the past 3 weeks.

I'm ready to get back in the water, regardless of the conditions. I hate that feeling I get when it seems like I've forgotten how to surf (even tho i suck)

waterdog,
this is good news, especially since so much of California will be lousy for this 3 day weekend. I went to San Onofre in SoCAL Friday morning it there was nothing. Checked all around in my NorCAL region and there is nothing. It is good to know someone has waves. You might enjoy it even more knowing Rincon and all the famous CA spots are duds this weekend.

...things can be strange. In the end, we had an OK Sunday in a few places in northern CA. I spent a couple of fun filled hours surfing at Bolinas Jetty. Wife and dog came for the adventure, too. It was a family day!

Yep, the waves were pretty bad. I hadn't surfed in so long, I almost forgot how. Did get a good barrel though.
