Hey, which is better to surf? I have no idea what the mean. Think you could fill me in?

Depends on the spot. Some spots are best at high tide, while some are better at low tide. Others are better at mid-tide, and some might be better at low tide going towards high tide. And so on. Hope this didn't confuse you.

The tides depends on the sun and the moon.

there is even logical arguments on gravity the moon and,what it's exact role is within the system for instance somhow gravity can dify the physics law on the speed of light and somhow does no work but leave that for the heads to argue. what I try and do is check a swell forcast try and see what the break your at works on[what size wave it needs to push up water to a ridable size ] figure out what kind of swell is optimal [from what direction is the swell needed to create clean faces to slide down]then check wind [offsore is typicaly best ]you can also check nautical charts but this starts to become more complex as you go along so gleaning info off locs is easy but not always correct cus maybe they don't wan't your ass there anyways then show up at the break with some time to kill sit in the sand and wait till they roll in and your ready to paddel out which could change dependent on how much ya puff.word M
