Awsome late Autumn day realy, 14 degrees (water and air) , sunny (then, wet now lol).

I got pounded at Sumner today

It was total carnage in the middle of the beach, and got quite sizey, lots of dropins/collisions, so I went out past the jetty to that peak that works there sometimes. As the tide went out it got big - almost DOH - and air drops. Paddled into a couple and got swatted at the bottom, got caught inside, took a couple of sets on the head, got an ice cream headache and a mangina, got a couple of nice lefts then called it a day.

Should have probably gone out at Brighton instead - it was better and more lined up.

damn i wish my local had a pier. Would make it so much easier getting out, plus fun to jump off too i bet!

so when you jump...do you throw the board first,or does it get thrown to you,thats not sarcastic....i could just see the problem.must be my age

As you can see in the pics, one guty jumped with hisboard most threw the board down then jumped.

I so wish I could have this in a super high resolution so it would fit across my two 22" screens. any way to get a higher resolution version of it emailed to me??
