how long was it before you got your first barrel??? and how was it?? how long? mine was today

about six months before i made out the green room otherwise before that id get covered but end up getting slammed. My first barrel was great seemed like i was inside for ever Dont get many barreling waves at my local the ones that do are brutal

had been surfing just under a year, was like 2 seconds in a barrel about half the size of me but man i made it fit and man did i claim it! let the whole beach know! still get stoked thinking about it....

bah five years and still no claimable barrel. been in a couple of times but never got out.

go to fuerteventura, you'll be guarenteed! i had too, still haven't scored on home turf as yet, brighton's not exactly well known for it's dirty brown barrels!

been in a barrel bodyboarding a few times over the years, still waiting for my 1st surfing barrel, aint had many chances to get it though. Took a long time......but once ya get the taste.

I finally got 2 in and outs on the same wave...long ones...sooooo sick. Now I can die.

I've only done barrel just one time, and it felt like forever when I was in there... Even though it was ~1sec

The only other way I have seen time slow so much......was when I was in a bad car wreck.
I take a barrel any day.

After like 3 months, by pure luck I got a barrel and broke through. Haven't made it out through the window yet, but I haven't had many opportunities so far, unless complete utter closeouts count.
