Riding Giants

Hey everyone.

I'm brand new here. I've only surfed three times; once (well, a few times - I took a few lessons) in Australia about seven years ago, and twice at Bethany Beach, Delaware (where the waves are 'eh' at best). I just saw Stacy Peralta's big wave surfing documentary, "Riding Giants", and it inspired me to take it up more seriously.

I just have a few quick questions:
- Has anyone seen "Riding Giants"? If so, what did you think of it?
- I'm going to the U.S. Virgin Islands in a week (St. Thomas, specifically), and I'm wondering if anyone has ever surfed there, and if there are any good trainers and surf spots in the area.
