Every year I need a new suit.....sometimes I will go a little longer.

Boards I have a long time, except my go to longboard, this one is lucky to see 2 years. By two years the delam and ding repairs are makin her look tired.

suits every year, but never thrown away, always good to have spares!
boards, whenever my latest one gets beyond repair (also never thrown away), boardies, until bit's start showing that shouldn't be...(they're damn expensive!!!)

Different bits last me different times and it also depends on the quaity of the product.

My old custom suit lasted me 6 years before it gave up. I still use it as a summer suit tho.
The last wintersuit I had lasted 3 months before the seems went. That'll teach me for buying a Shitcurl wettie.

Boots usually last me 1 season before they get tured into summer socks. and gloves usually last 2 winters. I surf at least 3-4 times a week tho.

as with anything if you look after it it will last (if its made well)

Depends on how often i surf, have a Cskins at the mo and still keeping me warm for about 3 hrs, Cskin boots split toe 3 years old and still going although soul getting a bit thin. As for gloves Oneil and theyre 5hit fell apart at the seams after a couple of months, palm has worn under the mesh. Gues i will have to buy some Cskin ones that way i will match from top to toe, twat

it all depends on how hard you surf, and how often..

i have had the same wetsuit for about 2 years now and i bought it used.. not to say i don't surf hard.. im just poor so i make do with what i got haha. i needed a new wetsuit the day i bought it.. it has holes in it and the zipper is broke i freeze my arse off but whatever haha.

he said boardshorts, not boards, lol...

I'm still using my Rusty boardshorts which i bought 6 years ago, probably replace it once too much wax on it... rashies on the other hand didnt last very long, my first one was a Rip Curl which stretched so much in 2 months I had to replace it because it was very loose; next one i bought I chose one that isnt very stretchy, 1 month so far and still looking good...
