I finally got to surf!

Yippy ky yay!
I finally got a chance to try surfing. Me and my friend rented some boards and we tried to surf. I stood up on the first day!! it was so cool. All u experienced surfers prolly think that's lame but shush! it was my first time lol. then I went again the next day and the day after. It was so awesome. I guess my dad was talking to some pro's or whatever and they said I was doing good. you know for my first time. Man I wish I lived in Cali or something. I gotta do this more often!!

I surfed at Lincoln City the first day at a beach called Devil's Punch Bowl
then the other 2 days I surfed at Shortsands.

That's awesome! How did it feel to surf for your very first time? Like the first time you stood up on a wave? I bet it was hella killer!

It was frustrating for like the first half hour/hour or so. I was pissed I couldn't catch waves very much and when I did I couldn't stand up too well. Finally my friend helped push me into a wave and I caught it and stood up and rode it in all the way to shore. I was sooooooooo happy I was like OMG!! OMG!! I stood up!!! I STOOD UP!! did u see that?! and yeah u get the picture. I didn't think I would be standing up my first day. It was awesome.

Oh they're in Oregon... not exactly a hot spot for surfing. It's not really that easy to surf ur first time but once u get the hang of it the waves are pretty good to surf if ur a beginner.
