why not use a broken soft top as an excuse for a new board? how long have you been surfing?

when it delaminates you can't glue it back together, or you could but it won't stay for long, you need to cut that off and get mmmm..... i don't know what it's called, a type of fiberglass cloth then mixe it with.... resin... let it dry out, cut the rough parts and then sand it down,,, that's the way to do it

2 years later and my mates bodyboard is still tip top. However your method is probably the best bet. But being lazy i wouldnt bother.
