unridden waves oahu jan 17

Not many people were paddling in at this spot(no channel), few tow teams got some bombs. The one pic where the tow guy is wiping out was actually a smaller inside wave.

Double overhead +, jr pro at sunset is getting some EPIC conditions.

anyone want to guess the spot in these pics? 8)

I think North Shore was uncrowded because the freeway was closed due to the traffic fatality yesterday (no townies). We were going to drive out -looked uncrowded on the cameras- but ended up going east instead since the traffic was being diverted.

that spot looks like the beach on the north shore with all the turtles usually. a bit east of sharks cove. am i right? this is based on the lava platform thing at the bottom of the sand. anyways, those waves yesterday were epic all across the island. even the south shore got an extreme clean and solid 2-3ft

the waves on the south were small. i looked and was irritated because the reports were wrong. anyway, yeah youre right, the rocks give it away
