First Surf of the new year

Were was every ones last surf of 2007 and first surf of 2008?

Mine was Byron Bay Australia 2007

and

Morton Island 2008

and now its my first day back work in the frezin cold UK. :cry: :(

My last surf of '07 was early December before I got shipped to Dallas for work and I haven't had a chance to go surfing this year as of yet.

last surf of 2007 was NYE at south bay. pretty sweet. 2-3 ft and really clean. yet to surf in 2008 but back in swansea next week so wont be too long.

2008 was Playa Guiones CR

soz i have not back too u mate busy boy at the mo not looking good at the mo for sunday good swell bad wind but its still to ealy may change yet

Last surf of 2007, Saunton, first surf of 2008 hasnt happened yet but will hopefully be Bamburgh in the next few weeks..

Last surf 07 a certain reef break oop here beginning December before temp job.

First surf 08 was the leashless south bay sesh last sat.

Libby keep your eye out late sat/sun for a small northerly only about 1-2ft should be ok though

last surf of 2007 = Perraporth, Cornwall, UK - Sept 2007

fisrt of 2008 is either going to be Venice Beach or Hunttington Beach, Cali, USA

2008 is my 1st RTW trip and 80% of where im heading to has surf, so my surfing ability is 100% going to improve,... more so when i base myself in Sydney come febuary 19th ... ps: anyone willing to show a 'new guy' around i'd really appriciate it!

Last surf of 07 would be December 31st San Clemente CA Break called Churches First surf of 08 would be Jan 1st San Celemente California San O.

First and only 2008 surf - East Wittering

Last surf 30th December 07 - Maroubra (South Sydney, NSW)

First surf 2nd January 08 - Mona Vale (Northern Beaches, NSW)

Since then... Coogee, Maroubra (twice), Cronulla, and a river. :wink:

Last surf on 30 dec at cronulla. First surf of the new year, wed 2nd jan, at cronulla, then cronulla then a river then cronulla then cronulla then cronulla and finally another surf on monday evening at cronulla. I'll be down at cronulla tomorrow evening too.

Av not got many photos of the surf it was prity messed up with the cyclone brewing and my digi cammera has fuked up, i'll see what i can sort

Morton island was a mess, it was more messy than H/M back home on a stormy day, Honey moon bay had been wased away and was just rocks and all along the east coast of the island all the sand bars had moved.

I spent most of the time with the family, had a great time thow :D

Got to say theres nothing like surfing i just board shorts he he am going to miss that
