Oldest surfboard you've used?

I was using my spare board this week, since my good board has a crack on the tail, which is an early 1970's thruster that I've done heaps of repairs to, but still rides well.
It got me thinking that I had the oldest board in use in cronulla, but i'm sure others are using older boards than me.
What's the oldest board you've ridden?

i learned to surf on a board that was "older than" its owner... so that might mean late 60's... i dunno however... were there even shortboards in the 60s? lol.

Mid 60's 10'6" longboard and a 1971 7'2" single fin. Both falling apart but great fun.

Can't beat any of the above, my old board is a 1978 twin fin, 6ft.

I've got a Larry Felker (LegendarySurfers.com) with a permit from the City of Laguna Beach dated 1968. In 1967 I started learning on a Dewey Weber which was probably 3 or 4 years old at that time. The Weber is no longer with us...

ive ridden boards that feel as though theyve outlasted this century...im sure they havent tho

There was an article in my local paper today that had a mention of a surf contest at San Onofre where all the boards ridden have to be pre-1968 boards (9ft or longer), no leash and no modern wetsuits.

I rode in that contest last year. You have to have a board that was made in the 60's to compete. Should be happening in May of this year.

My 7'6" minimal chapter board. Ma only board. It is around 12 years old, used to be white. Now its yellowey. I love it loads

I have a 1967 8'6" tear drop made by "Oceanside." Shaped by a guy named Jerry Rice out of Cocoa Beach florida apparently. It's a really fun ride in my opinion, gotta really learn into the turns and I think it actually makes my other surfing worse.
It's cool though, get a lot of comments.
