Woot!

Postby Stone Fox » Thu Dec 13, 2007 9:45 pm

Tommorow, I'm booking a last minute deal to go away for christmas.

I'm flying out on the 19th, back on the 26th, and I'll be 5 mins walk from here:

my only question is whether or not the airline will carry my board, or if not will I be able to find a cheap rental out there.

Well its Wuros, and I think its pretty standerd. If I remember rightly I saw signs for 10Euros per day but you cn get week long rentals etc which would prob work out better.

Couple more questions, I'll be staying roughly here:

28°44'18.81"N
13°52'4.01"W

Any advice on where to surf?

Thanks for your help by the way.

Rarly a wave on the beach imediatly by you. tho on the north side of the harbour wall are some sweet slabs. and the main harbour reef. to the SE you have rocky point. the name says it all. all of these only work in a larger swell but are all walkable.
out to the north it goes into the infamous north track. endles setups points, slabs. its all lava rock.

Not much sand about mate only on the east and a couple of coves down SW a well timed car rental for approprate swells and you weill be rewarded. Plenty of rantal places in Corelljecco. We used Hermandez. was the cheapest for a lil corsa.t

Cheers guys. I'm going for 7 days, and the airline want £30 to haul my board.

That's 60euros-sish, if the rental is 10e per day, or better on a week rate maybe I'd be better off renting.
