msw is a tool to use for forcasting not an absolute forecast so. its worth looking through all the different swells on the spectral data sometimes. its definately worth learning what swell conditions your local beach will work on just to make sure you dont miss a good day.

it does get the wind wrong quite a lot though.

the report I used for a long time for my area was pacificwaverider.com and i soon realized it would say 8' swells.. and it really meant 8' swells divided by 7 LOL. so damn inaccurate.

i use wavewatch.com as it tends to have accurate swell info, and wetsand.com works well too. but thats just my area that I have had good luck with those.. never tried them for socal or europe lol.
