I'm Sure you all know Roy Stewart on here:D
We'll he's put his board where his mouth is. He's built a fantastic looking 13ft ''longboard' and its off on a tour of New Zealand for all us Kiwi surfers to have a try on.
Cu-dos to Roy for sending it off and allowing people to move it round & try it out when and where they want.
To follow its journey keep an eye on :

Hopefully have a ride when it gets down to Christchurch, or at least get some pics.

I'm keen to have a go, looks awesome. It might end up sprouting roots and growing though if we have to wait for a decent swell to arrive in Christchurch.
From the youtube videos, it looks like a real work of art. Good on him for sending it round the country, there's a hell of a lot of time and love gone into making it.

Really? Missed that!
I haven't been checking too much recently. He also seems to pop his head out whenever his name is mentioned, so I guess that was partially a test, haha.

I'm loving that blog - hurry up and get it to the South Island! I really want a go on it before the ice bergs start to form up and the sea freezes over.
Sounds like everyone is really enjoying riding it.

Hello and thanks to RJD for posting this thread, I'm sure we can drum up an argument if you guys can find Brent !
We are planning to get the board to the UK after it has been around NZ and on its way (?? ) to Hawaii, there's some discussion about it on Magic Seaweed, but nothing firm yet.
I'm stoked that everyone is so keen to ride the board and to be honest I'm not quite used to the high level of good vibes, but I'm a fast learner. . .

Quite a few updates to the blog - looks like the board is winning over nearly everyone who rides it, it's been out in DOH on the West Coast, and is now in Dunedin, so should see some good waves there.
