I can see that it looks a little bit windy and probably very cold.

I doubt I would have even got out of the van

Glad the predicted swell has arrived somewhere, coz it aint here!
Had the groms comp this morning, and although I think surfing competition is a contradiction in itself, I helped out, and it was virtually flat.
The forecast looks good for tomorrow and Monday though.
And I think twas a wise choice not going out alone.
It's difficult to tell the size of the waves without a guide , so next time can you just through someone in so we can see just how big they are.

Looks awesome though. :D

mind you, having looked again, that chalet does look a bit small in comparison to the wave.

Got my brownie points by finishing work at 4am getting up with my son at 8:30 am. Putting him to bed, rushed to the beach to have a few hours on the forecast 6ft swell only to find it was flat as butter. Looks like plenty others turned up...all very disappointing. I'll be holding onto those brownie points for another time

I was chatting to the guy who took that one... Graham I think it was... he was over aswest strad at that point. I was shooting my pics earlyer in the morning when the winds where lighter... the sets where f00king insane but hollow as! deffo makable.
I'll go thru the footage at some point this week perhaps. Might start on my Ireland road trip video from back along...

Have you seen the spongers on M head>? was a few years back i think.
