It's predicting huuuge waves for the SW on next saturday
Newquay: 24ft @ 16secs wave height 13 ft
Croyde: 23ft @ 16 secs
Bournemouth: 16ft @ 16 secs
MSW usualy over estimates but it's by quite alot this time, is there some monster swell heading our way?

I don't know what's worse! I've been dying for a surf for weeks, there've been no waves, and now there are they're probably too big for me to be playing with...
Oh well, when it's time to go, it's time to go!

last week MSW had our west coast down for 4 star 20foot for sunday, light winds too so was promising, checked it out and was an unsurfable white mess that would have offered no enjoyment to anyone!
Our East coast was superb though, about 10foot and peeling the way the waves are meant to peel, MSW doesn't give forecasts for our east coast though!
Moral of the story, MSW can predict a swell alright, but as for the quality, can be pretty inaccurate, although if they give a period of 13secs plus then there's a pretty decent chance it'll be good!

the quality of MSW predictions comes down to local knowlege and you do have to take the forcast with a pinch of salt some times, it often does get the wind wrong
