Been a Busy Week This Week!

Postby kitesurfer » Mon Nov 19, 2007 8:34 am

Yep another one out the shack this week.
Sar's new board is finished and surfed as we had waves at a south coast secret spot on sunday, good sized waves for this sheltered spot too.

Board is a 7ft3 x 20.5 x 2.5 fat boy flier with extra woooosh just for sar.

Surfers rite of passage, waxing the new board.

Miserable stormy day but if you know where to look waves can nearly allways be found. :)

sorry mate, missed this earlier.

I love the board - seems very quick! compared to the "plasitc pig" (as XSWind like to call what I was riding) but I didnt get to try it out too much as the wind was still a bit much for me on a new board - had nothing to do with the wax job I did
I swear I didnt rush it to get into the water asap - Honest
Have got a couple of fin shaped bruises from slipping off

Paddleing is soo much easier I think due to the lightness and it caught the waves beautifully so really really really looking foreward to the next outing :D

That sounds like an amazing trip. Seriously jealous. I've surfed at a few of those places and they were all great. Never got as far as Pavones  , but one day I will.

look kitey, I don't like the fact that you're going galavanting all around the world while the rest of us have to stay home and work, so get a boring job or stop making the rest of us jealous!
