This needs to be a sticky!
There are so many posts "whats your forecast" whats "N Devon going to be like" that i reckon we need a sticky forecsat page. I'm cool for the NE UK, any takers.

Swell should be 3-4ft to start going 4-5 late in the day light cross/onshore winds will be better than i first though tearlier in the week.
Friday starting 5+ dropping to 3+ late in the day winds none or light off, clean swell.
Saturday. Starting 3+ dropping through the day to 1+, again clean off shore winds.
Longer term. not checked yet as i've been too giddy, but looks like the high that is now over from the near continent might allow a few more SW swells through.

And if your just checking these sites your being spoonfed anyways.
MSW misses a lot on the East Coast so i'm happy to do a report, i do a daily one elsewhere allready.
Just thought it might be good for the people who ask the Q's and good for the site in general.

I agree with NS, its always geting asked, MS is all computer generated.
i think it would be advantages to all us surfers what we predict, as long as its taken seriously and theres no piss takes

thats fair enough, but its just laziness when people come on here asking will there be waves in ..........., will ...........be any good at the weekend
half the adventure is driving over a hill to find out somewheres pumping or whether somewheres like a pond(instead of coming on a forum looking for an answer)

...true, but when you live an hour away from your local spot, and drive a gas guzzler, its always best to try and find out what the surf is gona be like.
but saying that tho, i have never posted a question on here asking "what are the wave gona be like tomorrow", i just use surfcore and other sites
NOT MSW

agree with gixer.
its a 2 1/4 hr drive for me to hells mouth,i check m/s up to the last hour before i go to bed.
last saturday it did what m/s said
this saturday (am) to say was an understsatement is not enough.
so if someone wants to be helpfull why not let them,i think its a great idea.
cheers
ian

next week (NE and the rest ish)

NE may get some raw Easterly swell late in the week.
Atlantic lows still been pushed north by the unseasonable highs we are experir=encing so lower tip of west cornwall best bet later in the week.
If this winter is to be one of an East European feel look out for more of the SW on the E Coast.

Reports by people who know will always be better than the auto reports by sites like magicseaweed.
I think this is a great idea and it would obviously be a great addition to the site. I'd like to have spot map areas with forecasts that reporters can update on a regular basis.
For the moment how about adding a new Surf Report category. If anyone has a regular report they would like to add they can let me know and I will give them edit access to that forum. This way only the reporters can edit reports and the actual reports are not lost in a sea of 'what's it going to be like this weekend'
What do you think?
(Thanks Mark for the suggestion.)

Looks like small onshore windslop untill begining of next week, when a low moves into the slot for the East Coast.
