Surfing Waves

Hi guys ,I’m a graphic design student, I’m designing a set of widgets for use by surfers and would really appreciate it if you could help me out my answering a few questions so I can get an overview of the kind of people surfers are. Please be as descriptive and in-depth as you can, or give any other information about yourself that you think may be useful. Answer them all if you can, but if you can’t just answer what you can. Why don't you answer your post first to get the ball rolling and see if you get a response then.

im not a surfer,like i said im just a design student and i thought posting on forums would be the best way to gather information. personally i didnt think i was really asking very much. if its too much bother for you then why reply in the first place?

You mean the lazy way!

These kinds of post pop all the time on this forum regulary, have you used the search function to try find the infomation you need.
Plus its lunchtime and it wasn't too much bother to answer your survey.

Sorry mate but we see posts like this all the time and filling every survey in is getting a little old.

I didn't think asking for a bit more background and info on what type of "widget" you may be trying to create was asking too much??

Besides, if you're not a surfer then why are you even bothering with this? I will answer one of your questions though just to give you an insight and I think you'll find this is true of almost all surfers...

List some of your dislikes - Non-surfers desperately trying to cash in on surfing’s current renaissance in popularity.

i did actually choose surfing myself,but still... i dont see whats wrong with that really. i'll delete this post soon if i continue to get nothing but abuse so dont worry yourself about it.

Do you know, I started to fill in the questionnaire then, in a tongue in cheek kind of way, then realised how long it was going to take and stopped.
