Nah, South west will be rubbish.

I think Joss Bay in the east will be the only shout for this weekend.

I can't work out if you are being sarcastic or not? :?

I thought MSW took into account the wind direction when giving it the stars?

No - it's going to be xxxxx. I suggest you all stay WELL AWAY from Saunton/Putts/Croyde this weekend as there will be NOTHING to see......

I'm stranded though by other commitments.

Being serious for a minute - I'm meeting a load of mates and doing the Saunton/Putts thing....

The waves look pretty decent, the wind looks like it could hold off - but the place will be RAMMED - and seeing as the water is still quite warm, it'll be rammed with beginners/summer surfers.

The net result could be quite ugly.

Be careful if you're going out and don't get ideas above your abilities, because if it's as big as it predicts, getting all macho is going to end up in someone getting hurt.............

Strange though, surfcore is saying the wind is going to be onshore all weekend.
