Yeah, how is the person taking it so high up, or are the people just very small?

it was 4 to 6ft so they say it just looks big because of the angle of the cam

I surfed Cromer that day as we had a contest on. That must have been the set of the day cos it was just overhead mainly and then dropped in size when the tide went out, and ended up 1ft by 15:00!
That shot was taken from high up on the cliff but not by webcam. The webcam is right next to the pier and 300m to the left.
I was pretty gutted cos I crashed out in the first round to some guys I should have beaten :x . I had the worst hangover for 2 yrs, that'll teach me to take things lightly! Well at least I can slip in under the radar for the next comp as people will just think I'm sh*t  .

Incidently the water is that brown colour due to the clay sedament in the ground which gets stirred up by the waves. If you look further out back you can see the water is a nice proper water colour where its calmer.

Cromer - surfed there once - too smelly and too brown - plus it was a close out day, so paddle outs were a 'mare........

looks good to me, never surfed there but my inlaws live in Lowestoft so maybe similar conditions to make it work? Normally stick to Scarborough but looks pretty good! 8)

That's my photo and not my webcam. It was taken on the right-hand side of the pier further down the beach by the concrete groyne. Bruce was right - I was about 70ft at the top of a cliff at the time. It was probably one of the biggest sets of that morning - despite the angle - the picture isn't deceptive - the waves were well overhead at that point - shame the guys weren't positioned at the time to take the drop and was pretty much a clean up set in the end.
