Indoor surf centre UK

Postby epic » Thu Jul 22, 2004 3:26 pm

Hi. I am thinking about setting up an indoor surf centre in the UK. The idea is to get 4 or 5 flowriders within the same complex. What do you think of the idea? Where should it be located? How much should it cost. You will be able to pre book allocated times via the internet so there will be no queing. There will also be a skate park and competitions.
This is my first stab at the research so i'd be greatfull for all your answers.[/b]

There was a feasibility study to have one up north near newcastle.
Not sure what the results said though.

Personally i think it would be pretty busy but you could have problems.

If you get alot of beginners coming through (people who have never been on a board) i think they are gonna have a pretty xxxxx time. Its not as easy as it looks. How much time do you give for booking. if people come along way for half an hour of getting on a board and falling off repeatedly are they gonna go back. I dont know. Just my two penneth for what its worth. About 1 penneth
